A. Proposed women Cooperative Bank
As a step towards women empowerment and to cater to the financial needs of the women, the present govt. has decided to set up two women cooperative banks, one each in Kashmir and Jammu division.
How the Proposed women Cooperative Bank shall be formed
To begin with, women credit cooperatives, each in Kashmir and Jammu division shall be registered by the Registrar Co-operative Societies, which would further graduate into women Cooperative Bank after fulfilling the norms prescribed by the RBI.

B. Proposed Poultry producer and marketing Cooperative:
A fedrarion of poultry cooperatives at the Divisional level is proposed to be registered which shall cater to the marketing needs of poultry production.
Who can become members: Any poultry cooperative or any agriculture related primary cooperative
Procedure of becoming member: Resolution to be adopted by the managing committee for becoming the member of the said cooperative

C. Enrollment of Milk Cooperative as member of J&K Milk Producers Cooperative Ltd.
Consequent upon the request ofState govt. to GCMMF, to replicate the Anand
pattern of milk cooperatves in the J&K state, two milk plants , one at
Chashmashahi, Srinagar and anmother at Satwari, Jammu under newly registered
J&K Milk Producers Cooperative Ltd. have been launchedwith the assistance of
the GCMMF team. To carry further this replication process, milk producers have
to come together to form milk cooperatives at village level and enroll the said
cooperative with the federation.
Who can become members: Any Registered milk cooperative
Procedure of becoming member: Resolution to be adopted by the managing committee for becoming the member of the said Milk cooperative (Specimen resolution)

Milk handled at both the plants per day: 50,000 liters per day
