Dr G N Qasba, Registrar Co-operative Societies J&K Jammu inaugurated the court room of Joint Registrar (Spl), Co-operative Societies in Gandhinagar here today.

This court has been located in the premises of Citizen's Cooperative Bank, 117-A/D Gandhinagar, Jammu. Chairman of the Bank, Dinesh Gupta and the members of Board of Directors were also present.

While speaking on the occasion, he expressed that starting of court within the Bank premises shall help in expeditious disposal of the cases of the bank involved in litigation where a huge amount of the bank, nearly Rs 8.75 cr in 200 cases is involved.

With this the long pending demand of the elected management of the bank has been fulfilled with the objective to improve the working of the Bank, he maintained.

Chairman of the Citizen's Coop Bank expressed his gratitude to the the Registrar for his cooperation. He expressed that steps taken by the Registrar Cooperative Societies will help the bank in reaching new heights.
